In order to be approved as an HHA the folloiwng requirements must be met:1. Complete a training program with a minimum 75 hours of training must be completed. Missouri rules dictate that at least 16 of the 75 hours of training must be supervised practical clinical training.
2. Complete 100 hours of on-the-job training (in nursing homes or other facilities under the supervision of an RN)
3. Work professionally for a year to satisfy the requirements of a non-medical home care agency
