Free Home Health Aide Training in Bronx – Option 2 - Best Choice Home Health Care
Best Choice Home Health Care provides a 4 week FREE State department approved training program to become a certified Home Health Aide. The course involves classroom training and hands on training. Most graduates who pass the final exam receive job placement and are generally offered employment through Best Choice.
Classes take place Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (NO evening classes) and students pay for their own uniform (the entire training otherwise is free)
Requirements include:
- You can commit to four weeks of training with absolutely NO absences.
- You are able to work a 30 hour work week upon successful completion of the HHA training course.
- You are flexible to work days, evenings, and every other weekend at a moment's notice.
- You can successfully pass a pre-employment physical, toxicology screening, and criminal background check.

Free Home Health Aide Training in Bronx - Option 8 – University Behavioral Associates / Montefiore Medical Center Home Care
University Behavioral Associates offers a FREE home health aide training and employment program in the Bronx. Funded by the US Department of Labor, this program is a joint collaboration between UBA, Montefiore Medical Center Home Care Department, and seven local Home Health Aide training agencies.
All the training partners are licensed by the New York State Department of Health and will provide the home care training through a combination of classroom and hands-on instruction. The graduates will become certified Home Health Aides, and can expect to work immediately upon graduation with Montefiore Medical Center Home Care patients living in the Bronx.
